Hi All.
I want to estimate the proportion of variance due to polygenic inheritance and experimental treatments (w/ 3 levels) in an experimental population.
The values I need are:
var(treatment)/var(total)
var(polygenic)/var(total)

Using polygenic, I can get the h2an vector, which gives Betas for the treatment (two Betas since there are 3 treatment levels) and variance attributable to polygenic+residual variance. However, I cannot find information about extracting estimates of total variance, polygenic variance (w/o residual variance) or fixed effect variance. Can the polygenic function provide such information? If not, what workflow would you suggest to estimate the proportion of variance attributable to the polygenic term?
Any advice is appreciated.
