Palogist analysis 1100.00% done

Postby ss2016 » Tue Feb 23, 2016 2:03 pm

I have been running palogist on my chromosomes separately, and for some of the chromosomes the program says
Analysis: 1100.00%... done

There does not seem to be a problem with the output file, so just wanted to see if this was something to worry about.
Thanks

Wow... That's interesting! :D

How did you monitor the screen output of palogist? Did you submit jobs to a queue system (e.g. Sun GridEngine or PBS)? Or did you run the analyses one by one on the command line?

Which version of ProbABEL did you use?

If the number of lines in the output files (use wc -l *.out.txt to check) is identical to the number of lines in the respective .info files, there shouldn't be any problems. I guess this is only a glitch in the part of the code that prints the progress indicator to the screen (although it is a bit weird that it fails for some chromosomes but works correctly for others).

I ran the analyses one by one on the command line. (I waited for one analysis to complete before running the next analysis. )

I used ProbABEL version v0.4.5

Yes, the number of lines in the output files is identical to the number of lines in the respective .info files.

Thank you!
